Blue Monday - Out to Lunch

Welcome! It's Blue Monday! For instructions, just click here.

Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links and wishing them a Happy Blue Monday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Johnny and I love to go to lunch here. It's only about ten minutes from our home.
Isn't this a gorgeous place to visit?
Notice the blue sky and the blue windows.
Here's the lobby. It's decorated in soft blues. Those palm trees are real.
There's an atrium right outside the main dining area. Water trickles down that giant rock. It's such a calm place. In addition, there are a few benches close by.
Although there are some items made ahead, we usually order our food cooked to order. Here's the full-time chef on duty.
"Almost ninety percent of the stuff is made from scratch, all fresh ingredients," executive chef Paul Finocchi (pictured below) said. "I care about the product. I won't put anything out here that I'm not willing to eat."
You'd think it'd cost an arm and a leg, but meals here are under $10.00.
Amazing, huh? Get ready for a big surprise . . .
Check out name of the place on this blue sign!
Our local hospital opened this past February, and it's a favorite eating place for us locals!
How lucky for you and the people living there. Never would you find a place like this in one of our hospitals. I really like the style of the building and blue color just adds to it.
After my father-in-law spent some time in a local hospital, we all became huge fans. Some of the best meals for the best price are found at local hospitals. Who knew? Thanks for sharing. ~CJ
Nice soothing blues. I think it's fantastic that your local hospital serves healthy and fresh food. Iwish all hospitals would do that same.
Me too Sally, I am sure we will. Bill is finished teaching and when we come to FL. for the football games we will make a date to visit. Now that he is not working we will have lots more time for these trips.
I think it is great to eat at the hospital cafeteria. This is a beautiful building. My experience with hospital cafeteria's has always been great food and reasonable. A great find.
Take care Sally.
