Blue Monday - Construction

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Labor Day! Construction is going on in my neighborhood!
Houses are being built and this road is being extended.
Johnny acted as my photographer.
Take a look at the large machine used to make the concrete that forms curbing.
If you squint, you might see the word, "cement" on it. Note the bit of blue.
.
Here's a shot of the machine moving to another location.
Look at all the beautiful blue. on this cement mixer.
The street signs are a beautiful blue.
And just look at that blue. sky!
.
With the economy in such a slump, it is encouraging to see some building taking place.
Happy Blue Monday!
Sally, I first thought how great...Sally is able to get out and about some, then saw that was not the case! Hopefully soon, you will be able to take you own pictures outdoors again!!
I agree....construction is a good sign during these troubled times!! Take care and rest....soon you'll be back 100%.
Hi Sally, It is good to see some construction and progress going on with the slump in today's economy. It is even better to see you posting, Smile! Johnny is a keeper that's for sure. It is so sweet that he is on the lookout for BLUE!
Still praying for your improvement in your health. Therapy is hard but I know you will work hard to succeed. You are a survivor.
Happy Blue Monday and the rest of the week.
Love, Jeanne
What does private road mean? Cannot anybody go there or does it mean that house owners alone pay for the road?
Hope everything is going well Sally!
I love blue street signs! Ours are green.
It is nice to have new construction going on for the economy's sake, though I hate the noise of it, but that aspect is only temporary.
My birthday was very special in another way. You finally were home and improving. That was a blessed gift. Your Johnny is a good guy and so thankful you are home as well. He does not mind your "honey do" things. He did a great job.
Hi Sally -
The blue sky is lovely, but I do hope all this construction so near you isn't too loud?
jlshall said...
Nice blues! Yes, any sort of construction work is a good sign these days. The noise and dust can be pretty awful, though.
Happy Blue Monday! (A little late.)
Happy Blue Monday Sally!
New construction is wonderful for this ailing economy.
Kathryn Ross said...
Hi Sally! Hope this finds you well and smiling! I see you've got some construction projects your way - we've got some re-construction happening here - and roads closed - since some of our bridges were washed out by hurricane Irene. Some detours are quite a hike out of the way and then back again! Construction and re-construction - spiritual lessons hidden there, somewhere . . .
Joy!
Hi Sally *hugs*
Nice that you have your personal photographer to take pics of the activities around your area...nice blues and street signs too.
It IS definitely good to see so much construction going on.
Hope you continue to get better and stronger. *hugs*
Our weather has cooled down so much and I sure wish it was only spring...your blueness post made think of that.
have a great evening
