Blue Monday - The Art of Recycling

Hello! It's Blue Monday! For instructions, just click here.

**When you link in your name and URL (blog address) there is still one more step. Please be certain to select a photo. I found that it works best if I pick the third choice:
"Pick one of the images on your site."
Sometimes it takes a minute; please wait, and make certain that you click "done."

Johnny and I discovered an unusual business that has turned into a tourist attraction. A giant recycled art effort surrounds this bright, turquoise Blue trailer. Seen from the road, a mechanical robot stands on top of the roof, waving an American flag. The movement of the right arm catches the eye. (We took these pictures from Johnny's cell phone.)

In front, a large, faded sign welcomes: "Hong Kong Willie was Here." On the bottom you'll find the address and email.

Even the asphalt driveway is decorated with hand prints and splatters of various colored paint.

The sign tucked into the shrubbery reads, "vehicular and bicycle traffic only."

A turquoise Blue bench offers a seat. I count three "OPEN" signs in this shot. (I suppose some might be a bit reluctant to enter the store.)

We learned that the owners sell Florida-centric art, artifacts, worms and even soil. The painted lobster buoys are big sellers. Their Etsy shop is here.

Happy Blue Monday!
