Johnny and I discovered an unusual business that has turned into a tourist attraction. A giant recycled art effort surrounds this bright, turquoise Blue trailer. Seen from the road, a mechanical robot stands on top of the roof, waving an American flag. The movement of the right arm catches the eye. (We took these pictures from Johnny's cell phone.)
In front, a large, faded sign welcomes: "Hong Kong Willie was Here." On the bottom you'll find the address and email.
Even the asphalt driveway is decorated with hand prints and splatters of various colored paint.
The sign tucked into the shrubbery reads, "vehicular and bicycle traffic only."
A turquoise Blue bench offers a seat. I count three "OPEN" signs in this shot. (I suppose some might be a bit reluctant to enter the store.)
We learned that the owners sell Florida-centric art, artifacts, worms and even soil. The painted lobster buoys are big sellers. Their Etsy shop is here.

That store is a sight to behold, Sally! Do they sell the worms to fishermen?

That building sure reminds me of Florida souvenir shops. Your header photo makes me nostalgic for Florida. I haven't visited Fl in four years. Definitely time for a visit.

Interesting arts of blue.. :)
Looks like an exciting place that I would love to explore. Have a great week Sally!
That looks like quite the place to visit.
I really do have the blues today! Recovering from my flu filled weekend! Hope you like my comforting blues. Have a great weekend.
Sally you share the darndest things! In Kansas as we travel to Nick's college there is a place that boosts the worlds largest prairie dog! Sort of has this feel! LOL! But all the blue on your photos are terrific!
Hugs and Blessings, Anne
P.S. We are swooning from all the white snow about us!
Sally, this is a crazy looking business...but considereing Florida...it shouldn't surprise me. Thanks for making me smile.
What an interesting place. Not exactly one I would want to go, but it could also be fun. Glad you and Johnny are out enjoying the Florida sunshine. It is raining here today. Thank goodness.
What an unusual store front. That's one way to attract attention! blessings, Debbie

Brings to mind the quote, "one man's trash is another man's treasure."
