Things of Blue are not always pretty. When searching for Blue, I sometimes come across it being used in an ugly way. This is the case for today's offering. Take a deep breath!
A swarm of killer bees killed a pit bull dog by stinging it over 100 times. Another pit bull was taken to the veterinary hospital and may not make it.
Upon investigation, 80,000 killer bees were discovered in the attic of this Blue trimmed house located in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Seems there is just no good news anymore. What a horrible thing to happen. You are correct, sometimes blue is not good.

Sounds like a really bad horror movie! I hope the American sciensists succeed in their attempts to mild these bees aggression. Our planet needs loads of bees, but not the aggressive ones!

Yikes!
You are not going to believe this, but my SIL had a bunch of bees make a nest way in their back yard under some shrubs they decided to cut back. They stung her Jack Russell and the yard man. She had to get the U of FL to recommend a so,union. It was so scary! They got them out somehow to the tune of hundreds of dollars. Better that than being stung to death.

A sad story, but a great blue capture.
Imagine living with a swarm like that in your house.... That's awful about the dogs, but something needs to be done about that house! Everything including the kitchen sink in that yard. Where is code enforcement when you need them?

That is a dark blue Monday story about the killer bees and the dog. I came over from Meme's Corner to say hi, and am following you now.
Hi Sally, It was so nice to talk to you this morning. I'm happy you called.
The killer bees in that house is so scary. How could those owners not realize they were there. I don't believe it. The county should make them clean up that junk yard. It is a hazard. What a shame about the dogs. At least now it will be removed.

Poor pit bulls :( Killer bees are no joke. I used to be stung a few times by bees (surely they were the small ones as I lived to tell the tale) when I was around 9. There was a beehive just outside; the side of the house. And superstitious old folks advised to let the bees stay in the hive because they bring luck. I remember my mother saying she doesn't believe in the superstition but in harvesting the honey later on.

Goodness! That's so sad.
Sad story. I'm not aware of having killer bees here. I'm always glad to see honey bees in my yard, but we have trouble with wasps and hornets sometimes. They are good predators so I like them as long as they stay away from our house and where we work, if they start stinging us we have to do something. We have crab spiders that prey on bees and other pollinators.
I'm absolutely certain that I wouldn't want to live in a killer-bee-infested house, no matter how lovely it looked trimmed in blue!

How horrible! I actually got stung twice this year. Once on my eye lid! Talk about painful.
