Blue Monday - Neighbor's Crown Molding

Hello! Welcome to Blue Monday! For complete instructions, just click here.

Please leave a comment for me; I guarantee that I'll visit and leave one for you. Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links and leaving comments. If it's too much for one day, come back later in the week.

Make someone's day when you wish them a Happy Blue Monday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My neighbor is having crown molding put into their house. Look at the Blue temporary tent the workers used to create shade while cutting the wood.
In addition, notice the Blue sky and the Blue on the ladders. (I took these pictures from our car.)
In this shot, you can see the wood molding being carried by one of the workmen.
The worker told me that it costs $3.38 per foot. Yowsa; that's pricey!
Happy Blue Monday!
An interesting blue subject.
A very intense blue, Sally. Renovations and remodelling work is always quite pricey and always costs more than what you originally thought...
Your area is great for having some interesting blues. I love seeing what goes on in your part of the world. Have not been out blue looking, so not too much to share.
I would love to get crown molding in my dining room. Lucky Neighbors!
Have a great Blue Monday :)
At that price, one can understand it being called 'Crown' Molding. It is a nice touch to any room, so I imagine your neighbor will enjoy it and sees it as an investment.
Nice that they worked in the Blue Tent just for you! You always come up with fun Blues. Happy Blue Monday!
Hi Sally, All the family is gone and the Bazaar is over. Whew!
I was all set to do my post early this morning and my sister called and asked me if I would ride with her to the airport to Ashville. She was taking her daughter and husband to fly home and she wanted company. It is 1-1/2 hours to the airport from here. Then we ate lunch in Ashville and arrived home late this afternoon. I was half done with my post and was determined to finish. On top of everything my computer was on a snail pace and it took twice as long to upload the photos. Better late than not at all. Smile.
I love crown molding in a home so I am sure it looks beautiful. How nice that the shade was blue. Big smile.
Love, Jeanne
Hi Sally,
We're back from our travels and I've got lots of Greek blues to bring you over the coming weeks!
I'm not certain about crown moulding myself unless it's in an older building! Lots of money for something else that needs lots of dusting ;-)
I like the blues in your shot, Sally, but what I like best is the thought of you spying the blue, grabbing your camera, and taking those shots from your car :) Have a wonderful week!
