My granddaughter is going to make me a GREAT grandmother soon; she's expecting a baby boy in December! I attended a baby shower this past Friday night, and I'm sharing the Blue you'll see in the pictures.
A cute idea for a baby shower decoration is to display childhood pictures of the father-to-be/mother-to-be by attaching them to a sheet hung over a door. Please note the Blue bibs and the Blue flowers. I admit that I took this terribly darkened picture. (sigh)
Here's the father-to-be, Matt, and the mother-to-be, Jenna, posing in front of the display.
Quite a few packages were wrapped in Blue.
Some gifts were Blue.
Refreshments reflected Blue for the baby boy.
Jenna is wearing Blue jeans. Matt is wearing a Blue shirt.
My daughter-in-law's mother (another GREAT grandmother-to-be) is wearing Blue. She's showing a pacifier that will have the baby look as if he's wearing a moustache. (I don't remember who gave it; it was so cute I just had to share it with you.)

ReplyDeleteYou love your children, grand ones, but when that great grand one comes along, it is wonderful. You know how special mine(Layton)is to me. I wish them the best with a fine healthy child. Having a nice shower, helps out.

How sweet Sally. A baby shower for your great grandson to be is a lovely party. Jenna and Matt look so happy and excited. Jenna reminds me of you Sally. Lovely gifts and there is lots of blue. I think the idea of childhood photos of the parents to be is such a fun idea. A perfectly planned party for a very special baby boy to be. It won't be long now.
