This shot was taken after church when Jenna got her flowers. Sunflowers are her favorite. Strider, my GREAT grandson "told" me to get his mommy some sunflowers for her first Mother's Day. (He said he'd "make it right with me later on.") You can see that Blue-eyed Strider wore a Blue checkered shirt for the special day. There's a Blue streak in Jenna's hair too. The flowers promise to look better with a little sunshine.
After church, Allen, my baby boy and Strider's grandfather, took us to lunch. Thank goodness he wore a Blue shirt so I could share this picture with you.
After lunch, we stopped at Allen's house so that he could give me my gift. Look at these beautiful Blue orchids!
They'll go perfectly in my bathroom! I did get other gifts, but these are the Blue ones.

Good morning Sally, I can see your Mother's Day was a very special day with your precious great grandson and family. He sure is growing fast and he is such a handsome little guy. I love the photos because everyone is happy and smiling. How wonderful to get out to share a Mother's Day dinner with loved ones. What did you eat?
We had a lovely day with our oldest daughter who surprised us with a visit Saturday evening and stayed for the rest of the weekend. She took us out to dinner for Bill's birthday and Mother's Day. We loved it so much. She lives about 3 hours away.
