Last Monday, I was transferred to the Long-term Acute Care Hospital at Connerton.
Here is a picture of the ambulance assigned to me.
The logo of the ambulance contains blue. I got as far as the parking lot of the hospital and we had to make a U-turn because the air conditioning broke—instant sauna!
The ambulance team unloaded me, and took me back into the ER until a working ambulance could be exchanged. It was about a half an hour wait, but the time passed easily because I was able to talk with these very nice men.
Notice that they both have blue uniforms. The shorter of the two is a real hero as he was previously stationed in Iraq. Both were solicitous.
I am working on gaining strength, doing therapy, and getting home as fast as I can. Thank you for your prayers, love, and support. I look forward to visiting your blogs and catching up.
My granddaughter, Lauren, helped me with this post.

Well, your Lauren is a dear! I do bet that "capsule" turned into a sauna real fast. One came to pick up a friend of mine when she was sick....and broke down in her driveway. I bet there are a lot of ambulance stories out there. I have a beautiful blue sky outside my window here in GA, USA. So beautiful...do wish it were water though. Keep inspiring and behave!
So happy to hear that you are getting better day by day! You are in our thoughts and prayers!!

Hey, Sally! Good luck towards normalcy! :)
Good to hear you are on the mend!
Hi Sally! Good to have you back smiling and creative - finding the blue in all you do. Even ambulances and EMT's! I haven't been able to stay on top of all the blogging I want to do over the past couple of weeks - mid-summer madness - but looking forward to a few days in New England with my grand baby next week. I'll have to find some blue for you there for the following Monday! Hope to be back in the blue next week!
Joy!
