Blue Monday - Celebrating America's Birthday!

Hello! It's Blue Monday! For complete instructions, just click here.

See what other Blue participants have to share by clicking on their photos. Make someone's day when you wish them a Happy Blue Monday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Other than hanging our American flag outside, we never have decorated for the 4th of July.
 Just look at that American red, white, and Blue hanging out front, and notice the Blue sky.
But so many Bloggers decorate for this holiday that I felt I needed a touch. This year, on a trip to Hobby Lobby, I spotted a little guy that simply HAD to come home with me! Isn't he sweet dressed up in his red, white, and Blue outfit?
I've placed him in the apothecary jar with some Blue stones. He's guarding the front door. (He might choose to jump out again, as he's much cuter outside of the jar!)
Do you decorate for the 4th of July?
Happy Blue Monday!
Happy Red, White and Blue to you!
Sally I love your post. I need to put up some of my red, white and blues. Today Hannah and I shopped for her birthday cake and she went with a wild animal pattern and hot pink! She is so funny like me. I don't like the Christmas theme cakes ofr my Dec birthday and she is a near firecracker and prefers anything but red,white and blue! Hee Hee
The dog looks cute!
I've never decorated my home for celebrating my country's birthday; just hanging the flag outside.
Oh dear Sally, I love the cute patriotic doggie! I tried to place the image in the party's thumbnail, but I don't know why I just can't...I've tried all the options. Sorry sweetie, but don't worry, just leave it that way! Wishing you and yours a wonderful, safe and happy Fourth weekend ahead.
Hope your grandson enjoys his summer in Colorado, and that he will be safe from any future fires. It is so dry here that fires are seem to pop up everywhere. We had some rain yesterday, with more forecasted!! Thanks for hosting Blue Monday each week -- always a fun party. Sally
Hi Sally, I finally made it here today. This was my garden club meeting day. Always busy for me.
Thank you so much for linking me last week. We were gone on a camping trip with our children and grands. The park said we would have wireless service but it didn't happen. No Computer for a week.
Your 4th of July decorations are cute. The easiest kind of dogs to take care of for sure. I decorated my mantel and will share it on the 4th.
We have our grands and two of our dtrs. for the week. Ten for three meals a day for a week. Busy is an understatement. Lots of fun too.
Happy 4th of July to you and your family. I am not sure what we are doing because the grands might be on a trip to sliding rock that day. We will go to town for the fireworks though.
Love, Jeanne
What a cute little guy, dressed up for 4th of July! Congratulation. I have joined the 4th of July parade in NY a couple of times several years ago. What an experience. You know how to celebrate:)
The blue in my shot was in the Australian flags hanging on the facade of the building. Admittedly, you have to closely to spot them. I'll post a link to today's photo instead. :}
Sally, thank you so much for picking out a photo for me! I had trouble linking up and it never gave me the option to pick out a photo, so I thought that my link up didn't work! Hugs, Penny
Oh Sally I didn't realize I was too early. In fact I thought I was so behind seeing there were already about 30 links ahead of me :)It must have been last week's blues then. Thank you for linking up my post. You're kind and sweet. What a sweet little guy you have there. The 'apothecary jar' reminds me of something like a scene in a Charles Dickens novel.
