Blue Monday - Bloodmobile

Hello! Welcome to Blue Monday! For complete instructions, just click here.

I'm happy to report that my arm is no longer paining me. I've finished my therapy and am now doing exercise at home. I see the doctor later today.

Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links and leaving comments. If it's too much for one day, come back later in the week. Be sure to wish them a Happy Blue Monday!

Johnny captured this shot of our local bloodmobile bus. As you can see, it's three shades of Blue.

It can park most anywhere people gather so that donating blood is convenient. This time, it was parked in the Publix (grocery store) parking lot.

The slogan is, "It's About Life."

The following shots were taken by me when we spotted another bus (with different shades of Blue) parked in Walmart's parking lot.

The sign tells people who donate blood that they will receive coupons toward a lunch at a local restaurant.

I'm super scared of needles, so I must admit that I've never volunteered to give blood. How about you?

Happy Blue Monday!

Happy Blue Monday, Sally! Thanks for hosting :) Sharing our beautiful Aussie sky today. I'm kind of funny with needles...so no blood from me yet. Have friends who donate on a regular basis, so maybe one day... Blue hugs from Australia♥ ~Pernilla

I'm sharing a little blue from Japan this week. My husband is a regular blood donor; but I'm always a little anemic, so they won't take mine. It certainly is a life saving program!! Sally

Blue buses are pretty. I have never donated or received blood ever, and I'm curious; fancy experiencing it. Will do it when I have a chance. Happy Monday, Sally.

You always manage to find some new blues! The buses are quite different in color, I like the dark blue one better.

Nice blue bus. I went for tiny blue bits this week, togs, laces, dresses and sky.

Well I'm certainly glad they are not blood red! Looks so much better in calming blue ...
My husband has been donating blood for more than 25 years now and one of my sons started as soon as he turned 18 (and was allowed to). I have been a bit anemic, so I haven't started yet, but I know my blood group is rare so I guess I will start as soon as I feel I have something to give.
Happy Blue Monday, Sally!

I've donated a few times -long time ago. But since my life was saved by blood donors before and after my last surgery, I want to be a regular blood donor. I'll start in August -one year after the surgery.
The bloodmobile buses have nice looks. Here we have white ones.

Nice catch there of the 3-shaded bus. My sisters MIL worked and retired from the KC Blood Bank and knew how vital these are.

Even bloodmobiles can be pretty! I've given blood from time to time when I was younger but not in recent years.

Running late again. Had an early appointment. We have those trucks around periodically, but I have never given blood. Not my thing.

So glad to hear you are feeling better. I used to give blood, but as I get older, worry that my blood is not quite as "strong" as it may have been in my youth. Thanks for hosting, Sally! Your blues are always fun to see.

Hi Sally, Happy Blue Monday!

I'm ever so grateful to people who give blood! I've needed transfusions a number of times due to my Crohn's.

Sorry Sally...

I couldn't come in time yesterday. My surgeon won't released me so soon.

BTW, I was hospitalized and undergo surgery for a cervix cancer....

Hope you can visit me in a way and see that even in the hospitals in Sweden, they uses blue straps.

Njoy!
