Where, Oh Where Have My Birdies Flown?

Susan at Between Naps on the Porch is hosting Target Birds on Holiday. I'm going to join in and combine this meme with several others. As Frank Sinatra sang, "Come Fly with Me."

My birds told me that their names are Rhett & Scarlett. While they were perched on the shelf in the T store, waiting for me to bring them home, they overheard shoppers talking about sending tea bags to Washington, D. C. for April 15th.

Barb at Grits and Glamour is the host for What's on Your Wall Wednesday. I have something hanging on my wall that Rhett and Scarlett found quite interesting.

Dixie at French Lique hosts Wordless Wednesday. Bloggers are supposed to simply post a picture and allow the viewer to discern the story. Her word for today is "Taxes."

Susan at A Southern Day Dreamer is the host of Outdoor Wednesday. Participants post pictures of anything that they might find outdoors.

Rhett & Scarlett have flown the coop!

Now where could my birdies have flown?

Girl, one could be blogging every day of the week what with all the memes/events going on. Enjoy your day.

I am so proud of Rhett and Scarlet! I would have encouraged Chick and Dee to do the same, but they are still on their honeymoon. ;)

I love Rhett and Scarlet, Sally. Which one has his/her head down --and which one has his/her nose up in the air???? I think Rhett is the one with his head in the air saying, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." What say you????

We would go to one of those tea-parties today if we could. But we have too much to do since we are leaving town tomorrow... I hate it that our Govt. is spending so much money --and wasting so much of OUR money... Drives me crazy!!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

What a cute combination post. I don't mind tax day so much since we no longer pay any income taxes. Of course the down side to that is we don't have much money either. lol. We still have to file though that that is such a bother. E-fiiing makes it much easier though.
Happy W.W. and all those other special meme days.

Sally, now your birdies are just the cutest little guys. Scarlet and Rhett sure do get into the politics and they want this country to run right, so they speak out and make their voices heard. Good for them. lol Great story and I loved that it covered so many events. Thanks for stopping by my birdie post and leaving such sweet comments. You asked about my Grandma and Grandpa Bunny, I found them at GW. They really are precious and such a great find. I hope your day has been a great one. Hugs, Marty
