Blue Monday - Thanksgiving Pilgrims

It's Blue Monday! To participate:

1. Post about something blue on your blog. It can be pretty, ugly, funny, old, or new as long as it's blue. Leave a link to this blog on your post.

2. Drag the Blue Monday button from here, and place it on your blog. Place another one on your sidebar.

3. Return here after midnight when Mr. Linky will be up, and leave your name and your URL. Do NOT link in until after your post is up. Please remember to leave a comment for me.

4. Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links. Make someone's day; leave a comment.

5. Check back later to make certain you visit all the Blue participants.

Folks, I'm most definitely "losing it!" I had the following picture all set to use for the Blue Monday BEFORE Thanksgiving--in other words, last Monday, but I forgot all about it!

I purchased the set a couple of years ago. Aren't they sweet? They have been in my Family Room; you can see "my husband's TV" right behind them. To the left is my problem blue chair that rolls. (I never got a workable solution for that!)

My pilgrims have now been packed up and put away for next autumn, and I've begun to decorate for Christmas. Please remember to leave me a comment. I am comment-addicted!

Hi, Sally!

I like your blue pilgrims. They are wonderful, and I like your blue chair which looks very comfortable (even though you say it rolls). :-)

I'm so excited that this is the first day of December, and we are on the countdown to the Lord's birthday! I love Christmas which is my favorite holiday next to Easter. I also love blue which is why I'm loving your blog. Are those sea waves?

I guess I'm the first one to the party, but I'm here with bells on!
Thanks for hosting.

XO,

Sheila... I've got you on my blogroll and Blue Monday on my sidebar so I can find my way home in case someone eats the birdseed I left along the trail!

Silly Sally. That is a funny story about your Pilgrim set! They are really cute couple. Hope they are happy in the box for the next 12 months!

They really are very nice! I'm sure they were a lovely addition to your decorations this year. :) I would love to find some like that. I'm ready for some more "grown up" decorations.

take care,

Must have been rich pilgrims to be able to afford blue dye! LOL At least they're not in all black; they mostly wore purple, yellow, green, red; dyes they got from nature.

What a shame you have to put them away till next year! I'd just stick some tinsel on them and keep them around a little longer. They're such a nice couple.

Mojo said...

Doncha just hate it when that happens? I've got most of my posts scheduled for the rest of the year already, so I'm betting there's a lot of this in my immediate future.

I don't have a holiday theme this week, but it's blue.

Oh, and I somehow linked my Monochrome Monday on your Mr. Linky. Not sure how that happens, probably a cookie left over from the last Mr. Linky I visited.

The blue pilgrims are really nice. My Thanksgiving decorations are very limited. Happy Blue Monday.

The Pilgrim figurines are so precious. Must look around to get a pair for my home. Possibly on E-Bay. Can you take the wheels off your blue chair?

Good morning, Sallyness! Oh, the pilgrims are so cute! I'm sure you enjoyed them to the blueness max this Thanksgiving. I hope you had a wonderful day with your family! I've got my blueness up and running and I'm so happy I could add to your addiction! ;)

Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I love the blue pilgrims. I would probably put them on my side table that I use often for photoscapes. They would look so pretty there. I'm wishing I had some blue pilgrims. I have two Blue Mondays this time. One on each blog. Happy Blue Monday!

Good morning Sally, I just love your pilgrims. So pretty. I hope you have a great day. We are off to the Doc's so I will be doing my post later.

Neabear said...

Thanks for letting me know I missed linking you on my blog. I was getting sleepy as I was preparing the posts last night. That would explain why I forgot that part. I fixed it.

I really like your pilgrims. You are not losing it. We all do posts and forget to publish them. I'm not telling how many times that has happened to me.

Hi Sally, It has taken me all day to download pictures for my blue post, but I am finally done! LOL! I didn't add the blue bird pic, sorry! Everytime I try to add something else, it throws the whole format of the post off. It's been one of those days! LOL! But I did add the link at the bottom to your blog!

Love your blue pilgrims! They are beautiful! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! :) ~Rhonda
