Good morning Sally, I wish we could trust people more. I try so very hard to believe in the goodness of others. Most of the time I am not disappointed.

I'm glad you like my post today. I was very moved by the fact that we rush through life and the days fly by without a moment to enjoy the little and big blessings we have every day.

This story made me think seriously about our time and how we spend each day.

Have a happy day...Jeanne

loved the comic!

I don't typically make resolutions, but that would be a great one to take on. My kids told me that I needed to make the resolution to bake my grandmothers yeast rolls more than just on holidays!!!!

Sally, The word 'resolution' seems to turn people off--and they may make one or more, but don't usually follow them.

I do like your suggestion--and it is one that George and I keep every single day--and have for several years.

Hugs,
Betsy

No, 'mam...I don't make resolutions but I have made up my mind to eat healther, more veggies, less sugar...and to excerise more..my poor, damaged legs need walking...and your suggestion of reading the Bible once every day is OUTSTANDING...and I aim to do it, without fail !! I will tell Mr. SweetNothings about it and we can share that time together each morning. Thanks for the inspiration...I just adore you, Smiling Sally. You are one of my heros !

Hi Sally - it's good to keep meeting up with the same bloggers cos I feel that we get to know each other better!! and I expect a funny cartoon from you and I was not disappointed. My New Resolution is always the same 'must lose weight' hahaha but yours is a far better idea. Take care, Judith

Hi Sally...last year was my first year to start making resolutions. One of them, IS to read my bible each day..at least one chapter.

On another note, it is a silver bell in her hand...something only myself and one other person would know. ;) hee

Hi Sally, first of all, the comic is a hoot! I knew when I came here today I would get a laugh! I always love your jokes.
As for resolutions, every year I have a card and I write down goals I want to achieve for the year. On one side are my personal goals like lose weight, reorganize my craft room,go somewhere, etc. On the other side are my spiritual goals like read the scriptures everyday, donate my time to something or someone, etc. I have been doing this for more than 15 years. I have saved each one each year and I like to look at them and see where my heart was each year. It makes me laugh because as I get older my spiritual side has more on it than my personal side use to!
Love, Ann

Reading your Bible daily is good advice, Sally! I think I might just make it a resolution, too.

Hi Sally,
I think that those of us who believe, have many different ways of reaching out to God. The Bible to some or just talking to him to others. As long as we keep him in our minds and hearts, all is good.

I should make a resolution to lose weight, but I won't. I won't stick with it - I'm a foodie. But I do have a page a day bible and I should dig it out, thanks for the reminder! ~ Robyn

Love the comic. I'm working on my resolutions. And I'm trying to make the realistic too so they're not unatainable (did I spell that right?)
