And I was so disinterested in maths that I probably wouldn't have noticed had you not drawn my attention to it!BB
Sally, maybe because the address number is 13001, bad luck if you are superstitious. Don't put your money there. Superstitious, not me!!! :)Have a happy outdoors day. Hugs, Jeanne
Morning, Sally! Oh, this is a hoot! Not a very bright bank. Please please come over and share in my joy!Be a sweetie,Shelia ;)
oOOOOOOOOO I NEEDED A LAUGH TODAY :)
We have those banks here, too. I never have figured it out!!Oh and thanks so much for the movie review! It really helps to know what other "regular guys" think, as opposed to the media critics. I'd rather have a regular guy review than the other! We wondered about the movie and will wait for TV!
Stange name! How is the house coming along, Sally?...Christine
Perhaps someone spelled it wrong. Oh, No! :0 Happy Outdoor Wednesday, Mumzie
That is an interesting name for a bank.
That's really strange. I don't know if I would trust their accounting.
I am trying to understand this. Does it mean this is the 5th branch of the Third Bank. I think I'd have to find out.Mama Bear
Too funny girl..Hows your home coming..did they break ground yet?? Hope you have a great week my friend...hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
Funny! How is your house coming along? Have a great day.Blessings,Sandi
Who knows what they were or are thinking--or not!
LOL! We have Fifth Third here too. In fact, our baseball stadium is Fifth Third Field! I never thought about this (but then, I was just awful at math!) but now it will make me giggle each time I pass a branch!Love,Sue
A strange name for a bank...thanks for your visit to my place today... Hugs, Baba
That is a strange name for a bank no matter what the reason for it is!
Got me Sally :-). I can barely keep my own act together. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
I started a Goodwill Goodies Party. Come by and enjoy every Wednesday!!
ROFL -- we had 5/3 banks in Illinois when I lived there. I always said I would never put my money in a bank that was so bad at math!
PS- the bank got its name because the flagship branch/headquarters is on the corner of 5th and 3rd (I can't remember which city).
Shouldn't that be 1 2/3rds Sally??? ha ha ha... We have those crazy banks here also---along with a ton of others. In Hendersonville, where G's parents live, there's a bank on every corner. I don't know how all of them make it.... Hugs,Betsy
What a strange name....for a bank that is.
Certainly an oddity! There MUST be a story behind this one ;--)Hugs and blessings,
Hahahahahahaha.... now that explains a lot about the banking business, doesn't it?How funny.Cass
That bank name doesn't even feel right saying it! I just realized that the symbol over the name is 5/3.Makes you wonder.take care,Dawn
Hi SallyHow did they come with a name like that?? I can't even imagine. I agree they should have taken the fraction down ... that makes no sense. I agree also its hard to say that word...you'd want to reverse it or something..thank you for sharing...I think thats a good bank to put a loonie and a toonie..don't you think?have a great dayJudi
Is this for real?!!! My first thought was, they did it on purpose to draw attention ... but doesn't sound like the kind of attention a bank would necessarily want! Now you've got my attention, I'm going to "google" 'em. (Glad I don't have a job there, having to answer the switchboard!!!)Myra
This is the strangest name for ANYthing I've ever seen. I'm looking for more of your house photos...
I can't imagine what they were thinking when they named that bank. It would drive me nuts to have to see that on a regular basis. I want to go correct their sign!
That is funny, Sally.
Never heard of them... thank goodness.lolHave a happy one Sally.Love Claudiexoox
Sally that is great....some people can't reduce fractions.Love it.BarbaraA day late and a dollar (or more) short.
Hehe...I saw a sign where they are building one here. I don't think I could put my money in a bank that has a name like that. Mabe they should call it the Numbers Bank!!! hehe LOL Kathy
I've seen banks with this name. I always though it was crazy.
Just hysterical. Makes a gal wonder, doesn't it. Have yourself a great day!!!
I can't imagine who thought of this name for a bank Sally--very strange. I would be interested to know the story behind it.
Hey Sweet Sally, I wanted to let you know we are not cruel and uncaring people. We did exhaust all methods to eradicate our skunks before using other advice. The conservation dept. tells us if we see the nocturnal animals active during the day (like on our carport charging us) they probably have rabies and need to be killed before someone gets bitten. I have too many precious grandchildren who love to play outside to chance with rabies. Sometimes downn on the farm, a choice like this has to be made. I just wanted you to understand. God Bless!!!
