You Won't Believe This Pink!

An eleven-year-old boy discovered this Pink adult female grasshopper while on a nature trail in England. At first, he thought it was a pretty flower. Then, it moved!

Grasshoppers of different colors, including Pink, have been seen before. It's a mutation. What makes this particular grasshopper so rare is the intensity of the Pink, according to a nature reserves officer in Britain.

You might say "pretty," but I say, "Yuk!"

Oh, my gosh that is just wonderful. It's always so darned nice to travel from blog to blog, like a beautiful magazine, and the color of my passion at every turn.

Thanks so much for sharing today. Now that the flowers are fading, Pink Saturday will need to provide step up to the plate and provide for us the blossoms of our mind's eye.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with sunshine and surrounded by love.

That's amazing! I had no idea grasshoppers came in different colors.
I am scared of grasshoppers because you never know where they are going to hop.

I would have to say that this one is sort of pretty, still wouldn't want it hopping on me.
