Perspective - Roses

Some people grumble because roses have thorns. We should be glad that thorns have roses. Unknown

Some examples of looking at the glass as half full:

Rain = God is washing the car and watering the grass and flowers!

Hard to sleep = opportunity to catch up on email!

Surgery = plenty of time to pray!

Heavy traffic = thankfulness at having an automobile and gas.

Getting older = more occasions for cake and ice cream!

Busy day at work = steady paycheck! Job security!

Dirty house = family and visitors!

Hard to find a parking spot at church = must be a great place to worship!
