Amazing Tree

We were driving down a new street one afternoon, and I spotted this amazing tree. I had Johnny make a U-turn and pull into a parking lot so that I could get these shots.

Here's a close-up of the blooms. This is Fall in Tampa, folks! Ain't it grand?

Beautiful! Do you know the name of the tree?

I have the same question as Squawmama and wondered if it was a Jacaranda tree. I have seen them in Southern California before. They are such pretty trees.

Happy Pink Saturday!

OMG! Your Fla. Falls are amazing! What a gorgeous tree! Of course, we're dealing with flying leaves, but that's OK....there aren't that many landing in my yard...yet! In a few years our trees will give us a bounty to rake!

LOVE your kitchen cabinets..they look very much like ours. I love em cept they show more fingerprints and yuk than my old lighter ones. That's OK...cuz I'm still very, very happy with them!

Have a great Pink Saturday! Dana

Oh my....isn't that glorious? It would be beautiful in any color, but I must say...PINK! Yippeee....It just couldn't get any better. I've never seen that kind of tree before...do you know what it is? Not that it would grow here in the Pacific Northwest....
