Pretty Coat Turns Brothers Green

Joseph's coat of many colors provoked his brothers into a frenzy of jealousy and bad choices. See Genesis for an interesting story.

Cute, Sally!!!!! I love the Coat of Many Colors story in the Bible.. There's alot of meaning in that story--when it comes to jealousy and how much harm it can do.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday, Sally.
Hugs,
Betsy

Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment.

I too am so grateful that, though I was once lost in transgressions and sin, God was rich in mercy and grace. He drew me out of my pit of sin, redeemed me from the marketplace of sin, ransomed me, reconciled me, and restored me-placing me in the body of Christ, seated me in Him in the heavenly places, and sealed my eternal destination in heaven with Him and all the redeemed forever and ever.

I once was BLIND but now I SEE. AMEN!!

WOW...you and sitka talk about the same thing today. Sitka discusses making the choice to obey or not to obey on All Gods Creatures! It is very similar.

Blessings and hugs, andrea

Interesting and funny. I wonder if Josephina would have had this problem.

The story of Joseph is one of my favorites in the Bible. His coat has gotten a lot of attention through the years. I hope he wasn't color blind. LOL

I love this way you invite readers to learn, as Paul Harvey might say, "the rest of the story!"

Have a wonderful day, Sally!

Perhaps he would have wished his brothers were color blind---but then of course Israel wouldn't have been rescued from the famine...at least not the way it did occur!

Great Post !I have pondered if when in that Egyptian prison God had not convicted Joseph of his insenstivity to his brothers . They must have been hurt by their father's favortism, but that is no excuse for their sin against Joseph, two wrongs do not a right make.
