I wrote a paper one time on the tongue---and our ability to say things that we cannot take back. I said that gossip and talking too much is like squeezing toothpaste out of the tube. You cannot put it back in the tube. Once the words are said, they are OUT THERE...
Howdy Sally Wow this was a great one . Go Matt ! I need more practice . Thank you for sharing today. Blessings of happiness to you for the comning week. Hugs Happy Trails
Why do I shoot off my mouth when I am complaining, and hold my tongue when I should say something really good?? Amazingly, God keeps on loving me in spite of myself!
Hi Sally That was a good cartoon...and we all need to think on that one. Too easy to go "wild" with the tongue and too hard to erase some words. I hope you've had a lovely day Judi
When I saw the title on my blog list I came running over thinking something terrible was happening - glad it's just the same thing we all have a problem with, LOL! :-)

The tongue, it is a tough one to tame, for sure.
Cute pic!

Matt's doing better than I am, too, Sally. If only we could take our tongues to obedience school!
Ah yes, I know that feeling VERY well too!
I think that is something we all need to learn to do...control of tongue.
Oh my goodness Sally... I know so many people that could use that. This was a great one... Thanks and have a blessed day

Sally, you come with some of the neatest little fitting images. I hope one day I can be able to do something like this. Have a blessed week.
I love this!!! So much, in fact, Matt's being printed out to dwell say, on my office sticky-board.
Best wishes for a great day!

Fantastic! I'm going to try it.
What a great reminder, in love, in laughter to guard our tongues and brand Eph. 4:29 on them.
Just found your site through Spiritual Sundays. Hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit.
Blessings from Costa Rica,

Wish it were that easy!
Our pastor is doing a series on Proverbs this summer, and just did a message on the tongue--this is a great illustration Sally!

Great post, Sally! I have many times regreted something I have said as soon as it came out of my mouth! How hard it is to "tame the tongue!" Thanks!
