DC Comics are reporting that Superman is returning, and he will be wearing a new, more blue costume. Here's the BEFORE:




Take a look a Superman's new more blue look:



One of the most notable changes to the original comics so far is Superman's costume. Although the Man of Steel still sports a skin-tight blue suit and his iconic red cape on the new cover, he no longer has the added protection of the Speedo-like red trunks he's worn since the first issue of "Action Comics," published in June 1938. Several of you have asked if I'm doing well. Although I am improving bit by tiny bit each day, I'm still experiencing nausea, weakness, dizziness, and fatigue. I've been told that it's all part of my recovery. (You may remember that I was hospitalized for seventy days and given tons of medication during two surgeries.) I went to church yesterday in my wheelchair. At home, I also use a walker. The doctors have said that it will be a long recovery. I'm working with a therapist and still appreciate your prayers.

Our neighborhood has a beautiful blue swimming pool. See the blue waterfall in the center?
I also want to call attention to the blue sky.

Although Johnny and I have never used it, our grandchildren have.



Next to the pool is this blue play area.

Yesterday, 9-11, was a day of somber remembrance. One that I'll never forget.

However, I love to chuckle, and I hope that you do too. I found some cartoons that contain

Happy Labor Day! Construction is going on in my neighborhood!
Houses are being built and this road is being extended.

Johnny acted as my photographer.

Take a look at the large machine used to make the concrete that forms curbing.





If you squint, you might see the word, "cement" on it. Note the bit of blue..



Here's a shot of the machine moving to another location.



Look at all the beautiful blue. on this cement mixer.



The street signs are a beautiful blue.
And just look at that blue. sky!.



With the economy in such a slump, it is encouraging to see some building taking place.
