Blue Monday - Soft Easter Blues

Hello! Welcome to Blue Monday! For complete instructions, just click here.

Please leave a comment for me; I guarantee that I'll visit and leave one for you. Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links and leaving comments. If it's too much for one day, come back later in the week.

You make someone's day when you wish them a Happy Blue Monday!

I love the soft Blues of Easter, don't you? I've put up my Easter decorations. You may remember them from other years; this is what they look like this year. This glass topped table is right inside my front door. There are several touches of soft, Easter Blue. The apothecary jar has Blue stones under the bunny. The bunny has Blue eyes and there are some Blue eggs in his basket.

Here's a close-up of the lamb. Please notice his Blue ribbon and his Blue feet.

I bought this lacy Blue egg several years ago at the $ store. (I sure got my dollar's worth!)

On the same table, but at the other end, is a candy dish filled with pastel colors. See the Blue?

In the family room, we have a rabbit with a Blue jacket sitting in the middle of colored eggs. I placed the Blue egg right in front. (You've already seen the little chick on the left carrying the Blue egg in a previous post.)

I purchased this egg shaped vase with Peter Rabbit (in a Blue jacket) from a thrift store, and I put faux daffodils in it.

Do you decorate for Easter?

Happy Blue Monday!

Very nice blues. I especially like the blue egg from the dollar store. Can't beat it. I don't decorate for Easter. Not sure why, but I never have.

Love your Easter blues! That lacy egg is sweet -- and even sweeter that it's from the dollar store! Love the Beatrix Potter canister with daffodils in it -- I love her Peter Rabbit designs!

Sally I love all your blue bunnies sitting throughout your lovely home. I have bunnies too and they are peeking around corners everywhere. Thank you for linking my photo, I am having horrible laptop problems with photos--must go and get it cleaned up but really don't know who to trust. Have a super week dear lady.

Hi Sally,
We don't really decorate for Easter but I love doing Easter egg hunts with the children! We'll be in Devon this year with my sister and brother-in-law which I'm really looking forward too :-)

You remind me that I need to fill a big bowl with my stash of pretty decorated eggs (they're mostly wood and ceramic). Love your lacy blue one!
