Say whaaaat? Reminds me of that old saying about medicine ... it's not supposed to taste good; (but) it's good for you.

Unfortunately true.

Sad, isn't it? This is due in part to the fact that the world is influencing the church {the Age of Enlightenment from the mid-1800's} rather than the church influencing the world!
Have a good week, Sally.

Blessings,
Sandi

Unfortunately, there is alot of truth to that cartoon. People don't want to feel uncomfortable ---even if it is for their own good.... Oh Well!!!

Hope you are doing okay.
Hugs,
Betsy

This cartoon might not be so far fetched. If Americans aren't careful, it won't be long before the government has it's hand in the church. The white house will dictate what can and can't be "preached" in a house of God.

Amen.

Too much truth in this cartoon I think....God bless.

Boy howdy! You are so right. Took me quite a while to find a church that wasn't afraid to preach on sin, judgement, and hell. Lord did lead me to one though and I'm truly grateful to Him.

Thank you so much for sharing this important post! May God richly bless you today and every day!!

Too true, and too sad, that people want what feels good rather than what is good.
