PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AS THEY HAVE BEEN TWEAKED. Please note: Permalink instructions.

It's Blue Monday! To participate:

1. Post about something blue on your blog. It can be pretty, ugly, funny, old, or new as long as it's blue. Leave a link to this blog on your post.

2. Drag the Blue Monday button from here, and place it on your post. Place another one on your sidebar of your blog.

3. Return here after midnight when Mr. Linky will be up, and leave your name and the

Do NOT link in until after your post is up.

4. Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links. Make someone's day; leave a comment.
Please remember to leave a comment for me. I truly enjoy reading your comments.

5. Check back later to make certain you visit all the Blue participants. (That's why the Permalink is so important.)

I collect nativity sets. I've already shared my favorites. Here are a few of the others that happen to have blue in them. Teddy bears are always cute.

This music box plays "Joy to the World ."

Joseph is looking stunned! I guess he has good reason.

Sally, Please forgive me this week, I just realized I left the link off my post and I will be away to take care of that today. Sorry. It is a tribute to a remarkable man for his family...I hope you will forgive me this error this week, I was in a hurry and did not catch it until it posted.

Love your nativity items today, as always you have wonderful things.

Good morning Sally, I have posted a different Blue Monday. I hope you don't mind. We had to give Babette a special send off to Rainbow Bridge. I had to have time before I could post this. sigh.

Your Teddie bears are so sweet. I love the musical nativity too. Our nativities hold so much meaning for Christmas. Yours are lovely.

Christmas hugs...Jeanne

You have such a nice collection of Nativities. And I really like the teddy bear angel - so cute! But then, I've got a real weakness for teddy bears, angelic or otherwise.

Merry Christmas Sally!

I imagine Joseph was pretty stunned. LOL! I was also thinking, "Here is God in flesh. In a cave where cattle are kept and fed." Perhaps I have read too many Frank Perillie (sp?)books, but I have wondered if there were heavenly beings inside and outside that cave. Sent to protect and tend to their needs. Something never mentioned and really do not need to know. But he could have heard and seen more than a baby that night. LOL!

Your nativities are great. I literally am giggling over "Joseph is looking stunned! I guess he has good reason." Yep, that is one way of summing it up. :)

Merry Christmas

Funny we look at the birth of Christ from so many different perspectives...but you're right...Joseph did have the right to look stunned. The whole thing must have been totally overwhelming to him. What a valiant man he was!

Hi Sally thanks for visiting my Nature blog. Yes, the Steller Jay and the Blue Jay are in the same genus, so they are closely related. We don't get too many blue jay sighting around here in WA State. The Steller's jay is fairly widespread from the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Ocean.

Season's Greetings to you.
