Beverly at How Sweet the Sound hosts Pink Saturday. Stop by her Place to see the many other Pretty Pink items that Precious Pink Participating People are Putting on display.A thoughtful friend gave me this precious little heart-shaped box several years ago. It's covered with pink roses. There's a gold edging in the middle with a clasp that allows for it to be open. It's just big enough to keep the precious teacher pin she bought for me. I keep it on my nightstand and look at it several times a day. I think warm thoughts of my friend each time I see it.
The picture in the back is of my first grandchild, Lauren Elise and her Daddy, my baby boy. Nineteen years later, and I still mist up when I look at this shot. He was so proud of himself, and he held her so tenderly.

That is such a special trinket, Sally. I love looking at some of the special things I've gotten through the years --which remind me of important friends and family members.

What a beautiful box, and what a sweet friend! I love it! Thanks for stopping by my blog--and I apologize for not having my pink up yet--my husband was working on refurbishing an old laptop, (yeah!), but in order to get it to newwork with our other computers and be able to get online, he had to keep messing with our network system in the house,and I could not get on after a certain point last night!
The good news? He was successful and now we have a laptop!!!

Hey Sally...love the trinket box and how you have it sitting in front of that precious photo...
I don't put pictures of the family in any room but my study and I have two bookcases full of them..some are when they were little and some are recent but it just gives me the greatest comfort knowing I can come in here and be surrounded by all these sweet faces and memories..
