Blue Monday - Tulips & Teapot

It's Blue Monday! To participate:

1. Post about something blue on your blog. It can be pretty, ugly, funny, old, or new as long as it's blue. Leave a link to this blog on your post.

2. Place the Blue Monday button on the top of your post so that people can easily spot it. Place another
Blue Monday button on the sidebar of your blog.

3. Return here and link in with Mr. Linky by leaving your name and the
Permalink to your post. To create a Permalink, click on your Blue Monday post title and copy all the stuff in the http window. It is a longer address so that people can find your post even later in the week--whenever they get a chance to visit. For those who just can't wait, Mr. Linky will be up after midnight!

Do NOT link in until after your post is up.

4. Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links. Make someone's day; leave a comment.
I appreciate it when you take the time to leave a comment for me.

5. Check back later to make certain you visit all the Blue participants. (That's why the Permalink is so important.)

Today,

I want to share some fresh tulips with you. I bought these at the Walmart for just $5.00 this week. Since March is here, and Easter is coming, I just had to get them. For Blue Monday, I have them displayed in this vignette.

I need to get some signs of spring going around here. We're in the middle of a big snowstorm tonight. I'm so glad on days like this that I don't have to get up and shovel and go to work. I'll have tea and muffins and watch it come down!

Good morning and Happy Blue Monday, Sally. I linked Jeanne in since she wasn't able.

Your vignette looks so nice with the fresh tulips. I am ready for spring. Of course, I know you don't have change of seasons there.

We have snow on the ground, and they have declared a severe weather day where I work. I will be home today - yeah!!!

Morning, Most Smiling One! Oh, what gorgeous tulips - these are some of my favorite flowers. Our daughter was married in the month of June and she took after me and loved tulips so much. She wanted them for her bridal bouquet! Well, in the heat of Austin, Tx, in June, not too many tulips! But the lady at the florist ordered some and they were yellow and just so pretty! I love your little vignette.
Be a sweetie and I'm hooked up to the blue!
Shelia ;)

Your right Sally when we lived in Vancouver, tulips were the sign. We used to go to La Conner, in Wash. State. They had acres upon acres of red, yellow, pink tulips. I will have to post a picture of them for Foto Friday.
You know it never dawned on me to do the blue post about a simple bread box. Not even sure why I stuck it in MET monday.
Sorry Sally.
I think I will be taking a break

I wish I could grow roses like that. ;) No, all my flower pictures are from the botanical gardens. My mom jokes I got the brown thumb out of the family. LOL

I also just realized my Monday picture includes blue in it this time.

Sally, why are your tulips perky and standing upright? My stems always curve and the the arrangement looks droopy. The flowers look fresh but the stems go "droop".
