Greening Up My Home

Kelli from Kelli's House hosts Show and Tell Friday. If you have something special to share, this is the place to show it. It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, or a treasured collection. Go to her place to join in the fun!

I'm having so much fun with my apothecary jar. For St. Patrick's Day, I bought a leprechaun and placed him on top of some clear and green stones. Look closely and you'll spot some of the gold he guards.

Then I bought some St. Patrick's Day ribbon and made a bow for the top.0

Then, I placed his "pot" of gold close by.

Inside my cloche, I placed a Colleen and surrounded her with crystal marbles on top my mother's black plate. Colleen's dancing an Irish jig to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Doesn't she have the sweetest face?

It's fun to place with touches of green.

Check out the BOOK GIVEAWAYS on my sidebar!

Great decorating ideas for St. Patrick's Day. Last night at our 4-H meeting the kids made clover corsages with pipecleaners and hung my sample up at work. I'm prepared if I happen to forget to wear green next week. ;)

I so love this St. Pat's decor you've made. I just made one similar with an apothecary jar and blogged about it the other day with photos...but, mine is a captured fairy that was flitting around our yard at night.

Happy weekend, and enjoy the show and tell entries today. Thanks for visiting.
