Blue Monday - Internet Problems

It's Blue Monday! To participate:

1. Post about something blue on your blog. It can be pretty, ugly, funny, old, or new as long as it's blue. Leave a link to this blog on your post.

2. Place the Blue Monday button on the top of your post so that people can easily spot it. Place another
Blue Monday button on the sidebar of your blog.

3. Return here and link in with Mr. Linky by leaving your name and the
Permalink to your post. To create a Permalink, click on your Blue Monday post title and copy all the stuff in the http window. It is a longer address so that people can find your post even later in the week--whenever they get a chance to visit. For those who just can't wait, Mr. Linky will be up after midnight!

Do NOT link in until after your post is up.

4. Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links. Make someone's day; leave a comment.
I appreciate it when you take the time to leave a comment for me.

5. Check back later to make certain you visit all the Blue participants. (That's why the Permalink is so important.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you participated in Blue Monday last week, you noticed that there was no Mr. Linky. It was NOT his fault! He is ever-faithful, but I could not get on the internet from Friday through Monday afternoon; therefore, I could not insert the Mr. Linky window. Blue Monday people are smart. You guys went right ahead and got each blog site from my comments. You visited and still had fun! How creative.
Most of the weekend, the connection was OFF, but every now and again, it would come on for a few seconds--and I MEAN seconds. I am stubborn, and I wasted my life invested my time jumping on whenever I could to leave a comment here or there. If you noticed my abbreviated comments, now you understand. Sometimes, it took me fifteen minutes to leave one comment!
Monday around 3:00, we were fixed. Here's the blue and white chariot of the fixing company. It's also the responsible culprit. (Boo. Hiss.)
Yep, it's Bellsouth or AT&T or Ma Bell. They do have lovely technical engineers working for them and this is the one who fixed the problem. Notice her blue shirt.
Today SHOULD go more smoothly. Happy Blue Monday!
Sally, those blue flames on the chariot you have pictured there are the tongues that were flaming poor Mr. Linky! LOL!
I'm glad we're good to go this week. Looking forward to it. I might be a little late to the party tomorrow, but I will persevere and visit all! :-)
XO,
Hey Sally, We are having issues here today too. We were up and down all evening. Maybe it's not such a bad thing. I got my paper shredding done. Something I was putting off for awhile so I had quite a bit! Happy Blue Monday. ~ Robyn
Oh that's too perfect for a Blue Monday post! The truck that fixed you was blue and the service person was in blue. I think that's too funny.
Now this is a very unique posting! Great blue shots and the person in the blue shirt is even posing for you? This could have been a very icky situation and ended up funny all round! Well done!
Hi Sally, glad you're back in business again! Tech problems are so frustrating, but how nice for your Blue Monday post that they came in a blue truck! It always helps when the techs are nice too!
Morning Sally, Happy Blue Monday! cute van! Glad Mr. Linkey is working today and your internet is back up. I go through the same thing here with my satelite connection. Snow and clouds stops me from having good speed and uploading pics. Thank you for hosting this fun event.
I guess we've all been there at one time or another haven't we? At least you got a nice shot of the van for your Blue Monday post! But it seems like after all they put you through they could've at least sent you a studly guy to fix your connection. I mean, c'mon!
Good morning Sally, I am here looking for Mr. Linky. Alas I can't find him.
Your AT&T truck is a cute post. My son-in-law is an engineer and he works for them. He used to work for Bell South and AT&T bought them out. He is not so Happy working for them.
The truck is quite impressive.
Well we are always going to have problems when it comes to computers..After all they are ran by humans!!
We have the best guy that lives NEXT DOOR to us and we are so pleased to have him help us when we don't know what to do with our computer.
Isn't modern technology wonderful? The really awful thing is when they say they're going to "upgrade" your system - then you really have to beware. Glad you're back for now and that Mr. Linky is working again. And wasn't it nice of the repair crew to bring all that nice blue to your place!
Hi!
I dropped by earlier and left my link for my First Ever Blue Monday!
I'm back now to visit a few before my morning shower *smiles*
Wow...you are so creative with this, even going so far to catch a picture of the "fix it" van and the tech!! I can tell right now I need to be on my toes for both Blue Monday and Pink Saturdays!!
Blessin's♥
Hi Sally
That is a very lovely blue shirt and van. I bet you were very happy to see it arrive too!
I know what its like as I was going through the same kind of thing. You almost feel like dropping your computer don't you? even though its not the computer's fault...entirely!
Testy..testy..
things look great and Mr. Linky is being good too.
Enjoy this lovely Blue Monday
I'm glad you finally got the problem solved. How frustrating. We thought sure it was Mr. Linky's fault but then I thought if Mr. Linky wasn't working again you would probably make a note on your blog to that effect. I thought maybe you published the post, forgot to activate Mr. Linky and left your computer for some reason and wasn't aware that it wasn't there. I'm glad you cleared it up for us. Poor Mr. Linky, he does get blamed a lot even when it is not his fault.
Happy Blue Monday.
I'm so sorry you can't find those heart scatters. Have you checked a Pier 1. They usually have some pretty cute scatters also (a little more expensive though)...I haven't been to one lately cause the closest is a little over an hour away.
I'm glad you are back in business, Sally! It is SO irritating when internet service is down, I totally agree. My internet has been fine, but its been so darn overcast here that I couldn't get a good photo of the blue I wanted to share today, so I'm going to have to wait until next time. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else's blue today though. :-)
Glad to see you got everything working again. A very welcoming blue for you I'm sure. I know all too well how BellSouth aka AT&T aka MaBell can foul things up. But am so thankful how they also make every means, at least in my case or else I get very ugly, to fix the problems.
Wow - you ever get a lot of comments!!!
Sally - thanks for aways dropping by. And no...I'm not getting a knee replacement. I'm getting it re-aligned. When he did the right knee, I had to have my leg broken, to keep it from continuing to dislocate. The left knee might not need as much work. I was born with the tendons off to the side, as opposed to in the middle of the leg, sooooooo my patellas "pop off" to the outside. NOT FUN!
