Two weeks ago, I showed you a blue dish that I had on my dresser. This week, I'm showing its companion piece. This container has a lid, which allows me to hide the contents. Want to peek inside?

Okay, just for you, I'll take off the cover. I keep safety pins in this piece! Dry cleaners seem to use a good many safety pins, and I just can't see throwing perfectly good things away. This keeps them handy.

The bowl with lid is a rich color. That's great that it's useful for you too! Have a wonderful week Sally!

Not what I would have expected to find, but it's a good use for it. I love glass in that shade of blue.

I went for something a little softer than that for this week. There's still glass involved though.

That IS a very pretty blue dish. That colour is sooo pretty. You've found a great use for it too. You need to find a little craft to use up those pins.

Happy Blue Monday, Sally. That blue dish is gorgeous. A great place to keep safety pins. Seems like i used to use a lot more safety pins years ago. They still come in handy at times though.

My third sentence is not a complete sentence. I should watch that when commenting to a former teacher.

That is a pretty container!

I hated to miss Blue Monday. I even had something planned. I've been fighting a cold since the weekend, and after just a little while at the computer I was zonked and went back to bed. Am better today though an irritating scratchy throat remains.
