I'm sorry my post was a bit confusing. I typed it in hurry. The name of the CD was "Hiding Place" by Selah, but the song was "By and by" and according to the inside CD cover it was translated by the artists grandmother and sang at this cerimony in Congo, Africa in 1948 when over 1000 people had come for a baptism by the artist's grandfather. I've seen the movie "Hiding Place" too, but haven't read the book.

Thanks for stoppin by today (I love your cartoon...it's funny).

Good morning, Sally. Cute cartoon and yes, there is so much to be thankful for. Sometimes we get caught up in our current circumstances and forget how blessed we've been. I know I've been guilty of that at times. Thank you for the reminder.

Cute cartoon. It reminds me that the president pardons a turkey each Thanksgiving. But that's just one out of how many?? I don't think the turkeys stand around worrying about it though. I'm glad.

Hi Sally,
Such a cute cartoon. It reminds me of a book I read with my students this week...A Turkey For Thanksgiving!

In the book the turkey is caught-but the moose family wants him as a guest-not to eat! Kids loved it.
